A metallic voice that was cold, and unfeeling, rang out, "Prisoner 2-8-6-5-1-9-6." A woman and infant wailed as it was torn from her arms. Maygan winced. She didn't know what was happening ahead of her. She tried not to think about that.

Maygan looked around the steel room. The metal walls were five feet thick, the windows four and a half, the doors were also four and a half feet thick. Alexander did not want anyone escaping that was for sure.

The voice rang again. It would make your blood run cold, and curdle if you weren't used to it, "Prisoner 2-8-6-5-1-9-7," but Maygan was. It didn't bother her any more. The woman who had wailed before began to scream at the top of her lungs. There was the sound of chains, and something blunt hitting bone. The screams quieted to a whimper. Maygan ignored it all.

She had begun to think about the war. World War V had started in 2080. It had been five long years since the beginning, and not many countries were still able to hold their ground against Kadia. Those who did remain included Jaztara, Eliptser, and Granalda. Kadia consumed what used to be Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, and most of North America.

The voice resounded, "Prisoner 2-8-6-5-1-9-8." Only twenty people to go before it was Maygan's turn.

Now she wondered what happened to all of those people. Some said the sixty foot thick pole in the middle of the camp had something to do with what was going on. The pole when straight into the sky. Some thought it left the Earth's atmosphere, but who know? No one had been out, and back since 2080. The gas chambers had been abandoned by the Kadians since 2082. It had been to much work for them to bury the bodies.

"Prisoner 2-8-6-5-2-0-3," the voice said. A man groaned. Fifteen people to go. Maygan leaned over to see ahead of her. The butt of a laser gun slammed into her shoulder. She whimpered, and straightened. There was metallic chuckle. She looked at the robot holding her captive. They seemed to take joy in the humans suffering.

Maygan's eyes glazed. She faded in, and out of consciousness. She never fell though.

"Prisoner 2-8-6-5-2-0-8," ten more people to go until god knew what would happen. "Prisoner 2-8-6-5-1-3," five people left. "Prisoner 2-8-6-5-1-4," Maygan gasped for air. She tried to swallow the lump in her throat.

"Prisoner 2-8-6-5-1-5," a small girl cried out. "Mommy! Help me! Hel-," the glass door shut cutting her words short. "Prisoner 2-8-6-5-1-6," two people left in front of her. Maygan prayed. Why she didn't know. She had lost all faith in God. The human race would be eliminated forever.

"Stupid scientists! Had to go and create a robot that was smart enough to do everything for us," Maygan's thoughts were interrupted, "Prisoner 2-8-6-5-1-7." A few moments passed. "Prisoner 2-8-6-5-1-8," Maygan was now at the front of the line.

She saw the prisoner 517 standing on a teleportation pad. The man suddenly disappeared before her.

"Prisoner 2-8-6-5-1-9," it was her turn. She tried to step forward, but she couldn't move. Her captive removed the chains from her wrists. She was shoved onto the pad. She fell flat. Maygan scrambled to her feet. The glass door shut.

Suddenly she was in black emptiness. Maygan looked about. Below her Earth was very large. Off in the distance bodies floated. Stars twinkled their response to thousands of prayers. Maygan breathed heavily. The glass opened then.

What little oxygen had been in the tube escaped. Maygan tried to breathe, but there was nothing to breathe in. A pole shoved her out of the tube. She slowly suffocated.

It seemed like forever before she finally died. Her body froze after a time. It float amongst thousands of others. Maygan did nothing, saw nothing, and felt nothing.
Ok! I must admit... looking at this story now... It's extremely cold, and somehow malicious... But yet I couldn't resist posting it... i did this over a year ago in 10th grade.... that was when I was... like... Angry at the world... XD But that's the old me... anyway I got a 100 on this one! Enjoy... Or not... O.o...
